The price for a Sapphire 5750 from newegg is $150.00 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814102865

This Acer model is a good one and it will give you the most screen real estate while allowing you to get the most performance out of the Radeon 5750. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16824009145

would not this: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16824236070 suffice?

also can u recommend any good deals on keyboards/mouse/speakers?

and would it be advisable to pick out a monitor in person to get a better idea at wat size it would be?

Definitely go to a store to check the sizes, make sure you have large enough to comfortably view. Personally, I work with a 23" Acer all day, and have a 24" Asus at home. If you spend alot of time at the computer, I highly recommend, and your eyes will thank you.

Acer H233H bmid 23" Widescreen 1080p LCD Monitor - 40,000:1, 5ms, 1920 x 1080, HDMI, DVI
$191

AOC 2436Vw 24” Widescreen LCD Monitor - 60000:1, 5ms, USB Port, DVI w/ Full HD Resolution, Touch OSD – Piano Glossy Black
$206
http://www.buy.com/prod/aoc-2436vw-2...211871341.html

I've had 2 Acer monitors, never a problem. The Aoc is a pretty good price for 24", but I'd check customer reviews and/or buy a warranty (which is never a bad idea with electronics).

When possible always see a monitor in person before you buy it.
Then buy it from the cheapest source (Within reason.).

I have a 19" Samsung LCD and it does a great job but, for the same price 2 years later I'd be looking at 22" models.
My advice is to get as much screen space as you can afford, thus the LCD/video card equation, that will allow your video card to function at it's best.
