Issues after PSU replacement
So one day while using my computer, there was a "pop" and everything shut off. I replaced the PSU, and the computer would power on (lights, fans, ect.) but would not give any system beeps. I replaced the motherboard with a Gigabyte mobo from newegg (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16813128394) and still the system powers on, but does not boot.
I have checked my monitor on a different computer and it works, so I know its not the monitor. Im stuck on what to do next...replace the CPU?

yes.
Ive been trying a few different things that Ive read from searching, I powered it on and let it run for about 5-10 minutes and felt the cpu heatsink, and it was not warm at all. I also tried turning it on without any RAM installed, and it didnt give any beep codes at all. |
