fqpissed Puhlease help :) First build, newbie!

Hey! I am about to build my frist... build. haha. Well, I am very interested in technology and I am a computer enthusiast, and I know the basics to the computer/script writing. But, I would like to know more about how to build computers...

I have checked out NewEgg and Tiger Direct, and I really like their websites. I like Tiger Directs "Do It Yourself" combinations, especially because most of them come with Windows 7, but I also love NewEgg. Have you heard of them? Are they any good? Any suggestions on what I should get under $600 for a newbie? Seperate parts? ANYTHING???

I need your advice, I am new. Please don't redirect me to another thread, I'd like it to stay on here. Please help, if you can. Also, I have been researching, and I can get my monitor, keyboard, mouse, and wireless chip for under $150, so I'm all set there. I also need a good graphics card/operating system, but it doesn't have to be the best, and I don't want it to be too much. DDR3 RAM is a good + too Just wondering if any of you have suggestions. Please & thank you!

Newegg is much preferable to TD, TD carries a lot of junk and distressed merchandise and their customer service isn't very good.

I'm not directing you to other threads per se, but please read some threads in this forum to see what others are doing and what we are recommending. When you repost, please tell us exactly what components you need for what total price, and what you expect to use the computer for. Gaming computers need different components than multimedia workstations than multitasking productivity machines, for example.

Admin note - the links in your sig are not exactly appropriate so I edited them out. It's never wise to post your email address on ANY forum, and we do not allow personal site promotion. Thank you for understanding.
