I would go with a 64bit version of Windows 7 so you can utilize all 4GB of RAM that you will have. 32 bit systems only can "see" about 3.7-3.8GB. As far as the rest of the build I am not that familiar with AMD builds so I am not going to comment in fear of misleading you... lol.

32-bit Windows is generally has better compatibility and stability than 64-bit Windows, 64-bit Windows usually has more of a use once you start using more than 4GB of ram.

I'd spend a bit more for a Black drive instead of a Blue.

Glc,
what is the difference ? Unfortunately this entire process has been done via my phone and it's hard to research. I'm guessing since the same amount of space costs more it's a little faster ?? I have already ordered the build last night, the only thing I changed from what's listed above is a better psu. |

The Black drives have more cache and longer warranty than the Blue hard drives, but I doubt it would matter too much to you since the performance is very similar and the Blue drives are pretty reliable while costing a fair amount less.

The build was a success. I'm one of the least mechanically inclined people I know, it took me well over 3 hours just to do the assembly. I got incredibly stressed a few times and almost threw the entire case filled with components onto the ground. After all was said and done, I looked into it and realized had simple and easy it really is. Thanks everyone for a great build! Now I just need to clean it up, looks like a wire nuke!

To tidy your wires, get a bag of twist ties and play around till it's neat. Zip ties are more permanent, but once cinched you have to cut them off.
