New Video Editing Build..

Hey guys been surfing ur site since 2006 never really found the need to reply or make a new topic as i could find the answers here...but i was wondering if could help on this build that im making for my brother trying to save him money as he found this on ebay

nd thought maybe i could build a better computer with more bang for the buck nd would also be able 2 get the experience

he uses nero to burn home movies nd to watch videos on the tv...nd doesnt want to upgrade for a good while...problaly 5+ years or so

have not picked the case yet as i will that up 2 him unless u guys have some good suggestions
nd we can narrow it down from there

also would a video card be necessary??
he would like to be able to watch movies trough HDMI output nd also surf the internet + burn movies at the same time

i prefer to keep it at under $600 nd the total is 653.92 so if anyone can recommened something cheaper with more value ill be willing to look it up

I usually don't comment on AMD builds because I don't do them and am not up on what's compatible with what, but I will say that a Logisys power supply is rubbish. A quality 550 watt power supply is $75 MINIMUM. I'd recommend you look at Antec, Corsair, and Seasonic for quality.

Take a look at an Antec Sonata 3 case with 500 watt power supply.
