I would like to end up with a good quiet solid computer for all around use. I have been using Nero a lot lately to burn DVD's.

What are you going to use for a case? How much gaming are you going to do?

If your gaming needs aren't major, I'd recommend this ATI video card instead:

I also don't have any data on the quality and reliability of that power supply. Make sure that ram is on the Asus QVL.

I using an Antec P183 case

I won't be gaming, so I'll look at that ATI card, but I definitely want a fast and quiet video card.

What would be an alternative power supply that would be quiet?

I will try to find the Asus QVL

I would look at Antec, Corsair, and Seasonic PSU's.

Without gaming, any video card would do the job fine. You don't have to spend $100.

That will happily survive on a good 350+ watt PSU.

I would just use some regular DDR3 1333 or 1600 instead of the ripjaw memory.
