CM Haf 922 Case and Socket 1156 Motherboards?

I'm trying to decide on a case for my build. The CM Haf 922 and Storm Sniper both look good, but I'm concerned about one aspect of the 922. A couple of reviews mentioned that the space in the mobo backplate is too small for mobos with a 1156 socket (http://www.guru3d.com/article/cooler...-review-test/6). Does this mean that if I wanted to add a third party CPU cooler later, I would just need to take the mobo out to do it, or does it mean that the bracket wouldn't fit at all?

I assume the Sniper is the same because it is so similar to the 922.
