Post "Can I save a few bucks?" build

Been about 3 years since my last system build and my wife needs a new computer so I'm building to pass my current system on to her (again! lol)

Haven't been in the loop in regards to hardware vendors since my last build is why I'm posting for a review. Please let me know what you think.

Note I am building this as a business computer (mainly) with moderate gaming potential, but leaving room for upgrades in the future.

If possible I would like to save a few bucks vs what I have listed below (not counting buying from a different company). Is there anything here that is overkill? Memory? PSU watts? Don't touch the raid10 -- i want that

Code:

     Price - Rebate - Desc

[] $104.99 - - Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit 1-Pack for System Builders - OEM
[] $109.99 - $20.00 - Antec EarthWatts EA750 750W Continuous Power ATX12V version 2.3 SLI Certified CrossFire Ready 80 PLUS Certified Active PFC "compatible with Core i7/Core i5" Power Supply - Retail
[] $209.99 - - ASUS SABERTOOTH 55i LGA 1156 Intel P55 ATX Intel Motherboard - Retail
[] $124.99 - - Intel Core i3-530 Clarkdale 2.93GHz 4MB L3 Cache LGA 1156 73W Dual-Core Desktop Processor - Retail
[] $104.99 - - G.SKILL 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory Model F3-12800CL9D-4GBNQ - Retail
[] $139.99 - - XFX GS250XYDFC GeForce GTS 250 512MB Core Edition 256-bit GDDR3 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready SLI Supported Video Card - Retail
[] $199.96 - - 4x (Will be RAID-10) Western Digital Caviar Blue WD5000AAKS 500GB 7200 RPM 16MB Cache SATA 3.0Gb/s 3.5" Internal Hard Drive -Bare Drive
[] $ 28.99 - - LITE-ON Black 24X DVD+R 24X DVD-R SATA Black 24X DVD Writer LightScribe Support - Retail

---------------------------
$1,023.89
These are all newegg prices and this is just a preliminary build sheet. Hoping to tweak a bit and I'll find the best deals as I tweak.

Thanks!

I would get the base P7P55D board instead of the Sabertooth, but replace that i3 with a i5-750.

I also want to discourage a RAID 10 on a motherboard controller - get a 1 tb WD Black and an external drive for doing backups. Leave RAID to dedicated hardware addon cards and RAID 5. I'd also recommend a different brand video card - and consider an ATI chipset too. A Radeon 5770 is more futureproof than anything from Nvidia.

750 watts is a bit overkill, but the price on that one is right.

Didn't need the pro version of the mb as I never have intention of dual video cards, and that vapor-x looks nice to me as a single.

I think this system will run nicely Any other suggestions? How's the memory look?

As long as the memory is on the Asus QVL you are good to go. If you want USB 3.0 and SATA 6, the P7P55D-E is only $10 more.
