Hey all. I'm looking to put together a system on the cheap, not for gaming. Is there anything I should change? Maybe throw in a couple extra bucks and get something better? Any and all idea are greatly appreciated.

3 suggestions:
1. That Thermaltake is not exactly suitable for a PCI-Express based motherboard, it's old single rail technology with the extra 4 pin connector added. I'd recommend something like an Antec Basiq instead for a budget unit. 2. Western Digital hard drives are more reliable these days. The Black models are the best. 3. Consider ram from a higher tier manufacturer - Corsair, Kingston, G.skill, or Crucial. |
