New build question about the i7 processors

My buddy told me Intel will be releasing a new series for the i7 processor on Feb. 28, 2010.
I'm in the process of buying parts for my new rig.
I was planning on buying the i7 920 (bloomfield) for about $200
Should I wait for the new model(s)?
Anyone have info on this? Any idea if the newer ones will be the 1366 socket type?

Yep the 980-X but it won't be $200, more like $1200

As for the socket types, it looks as if a few of them will be 1366, from what I have seen... The price is going to be pretty outrageous at first, so unless you really have money to burn, then stick with something in your price range. The release date for the 980x has been pushed back until March. Some of the others have miscellaneous release dates through the spring of 2010.
