biostar t5xe cfx-sli VGA error

DISREGARD: I need to interpret the LED indicators better. It was a memory error so i put them in the other banks and alls good.

I just put together a new box and am getting a mobo led error that shows a vga error.

i7 860
gskill 1600 ddr3 2x2gb
old 7600gt and 6600gt
corsair tx650
caviar black 640gb

i've unplugged all but the atx+4pin connector, front LED/power/reset leads. the cpu fan is the only one connected to the mobo and it spins and all the connected lights turn on. the mobo LED indicators immediately show vga error and i get no video output.

I tried running 1 stick of ram and 2, no difference. Both video cards work and were pulled from working systems. i'm getting a 5850 in the mail tomorrow.

Any ideas?
