Trying to sell newly built PC - part out or sell as is?
I'm trying to sell my hardly-used computer.
Here's the components list: Quote:
Dunno what I'm doing wrong but I've dropped it from $1200 to $800 in the past month and no nibbles. Should I consider parting it out? Then I run the risk of not getting all the money I need to purchase the laptop I'm aiming for. Any help is much appreciated! Last edited by glc; 03-02-2010 at 09:46 PM. |

If someone offers you $600, jump on it. You are not a professional builder, and you are trying to sell a used computer. Used computer values are only a fraction of new parts costs.

So you think I should lower my asking price to $600? And post on eBay for $650 buy out?

I would post (the whole system) on craigs list, take some good pics and see what happens. With the economy and all, it may be pretty tough to get 800.00. In my opinion, Ebay would be better for the part out procedure.
