If you want to play Crysis on max settings, you don't have enough money. Considering you have to buy an OS and you live in California you are looking at more like a $650 parts budget. An OS is about $100, and most online vendors are in California so you will have to pay sales tax. That's going to make you cut too many corners, Crysis needs a pretty strong system, especially the video card.

Yes. For now, you will have to use a dual core processor.

1. I'm not going to comment on AMD processors and motherboards because I don't use them. I wouldn't want to mislead you.
2. Corsairs are excellent power supplies, but if you are even thinking about Crossfire you need to up the power considerably. Even with only one 5750 card, ATI recommends 450 watts minimum. 3. I don't trust Seagate hard drives these days. To answer your question, yes, the Intel system I recommended can be upgraded to an i5 or i7 quad core. |

Really worried about that 67 bucks????? Gotta pay for quality and can't really expect a whole heck of a lot for 800 bones. Save your money for a few months and pool it together with the TAX Money everone NEEDS to spend as soon as they get it. Surley you can come up with little more to spend that way and you would have more to put into a better system. If 67 dollars is really that big a deal, Buy a cheap asus to play WOW on. Being it dont take much of a computer to do that. Crysis will be there when you graduate school into the job market and dont have to rely on your parents money. Then ,with any luck, you can afford a computer tha will run it
