I have no complaints! It definitely looks like you did well on your research. Everything looks very, very solid. That system is going to scream!

Looking very nice
Only thing is, have you considered the Asus P7P55-E LX $140?

I had not seen this one, but it looks like it only has 1 PCI Express 2.0 slot, mine has 2. It might be nice to have 2 just in case I ever want to get another HD 5850.

My motherboard can support CrossFireX of 2 HD 5850's correct?

If you really plan to use Crossfire you will need to get the P7P55D
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...-404-_-Product

The E won't support Crossfire.

That's an idea of what it'd consume under load with crossfire.

There's also that board.

Crossfire for what? You are better getting one 5870 than wasting your money on 2x5850s. No games on the market can out do the performance of the 5870. By the time you will need crossfire for newer games your cards will be obselete. My advise is stick to 1 better card.

Yes you're probably right, by the time I would need the second one for crossfire the 5850's will be obsolete I'm sure. One will still be plenty for me, I'm no hardcore gamer. Thanks for the help everyone!

Ok so I just went to add the ASUS 5850 to my newegg cart and noticed that they weren't available right now.

What other Brand would you recommend?

When I search for the 5850's on newegg I see that Sapphire has 3 versions, but I couldn't see what was different about them (except that one had MW2 included with it). Are the Sapphire cards good? And why are there 3?

This makes a pretty good vid card 'Bible'.

Video Card Rating

I personally have never owned a Saphire card. I've read about people saying ther good. I also have read the cards tend to do better with the Omega drivers. I've just read this in different area's around the net, no direct experience.
