cpu error indication
This is my first new build in years. I'm using an asus p7p55d mother board with an intel i5-750 lga1156 complete with heat sink and fan. Upon power up all the fans operate along with power indicators but progress stops with the red cpu led illuminated indicating a cpu problem. I powered down and removed the fan/heat sink and the cpu. I checked the socket and cpu with a magnifying glass and could detect no apparent damage. I reinstalled every thing and powered up again with the same results. Any suggestions.
