These are my specs.
CPU: Intel Pentium 4 3.2Ghz Mobo: Asus Leonite socket 775 PCI x16 RAM: Samsung M3 2GB (2x1) HD: 80GB Seagate, 150GB WD Power: 400w btx Case: Modtek alien-x Video: Intel express chipset and a few nifty lights and fans Im looking to upgrade the video, obviously, and maybe the cpu and ram if necessary. any help or suggestions will be greatly appreciated. |

With those specs any upgrade would be used to give you more time while you save for a new computer.
A video card like this one : http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814102871 is the limit your power supply can handle. The graphics card can be carried over as replacement in the new build or used as a place holder if you decide to get a major gaming card for that build later on. So it would have two uses for you, improved performance now and decent use later. Given XP's 32 bit limit for handling ram there would be no point in your adding more to the rig.
