All good choices. If you anticipate playing any DirectX 11 games, get the 5000 series card.

Cool, always nice to have someone double check. Iv decided to go for the 5770 but before purchasing i just wanted to ask, what is the difference between XFX Radeon 5770, Sapphire Radeon 5770, Asus 5770, Powercolor 5770? They are all different prices but arnt they the same card? Is there any i should avoid?

I have two of the Sapphire 5770s - they have worked flawlessly, but be aware that they do not have end user support.
Asus are a good brand, as are Diamond. I think some here will advise avoiding XFX cards.

agreed orbit, the quality control on xfx is terrible. i have seen (personally) back to back DOA cards from xfx and will never reccomend them or purchase one again. sappire makes decent cards afaik (never had one, but good reviews in general), but like orbit said, there is no direct support for the end user. they work more with retaill companies.

I have been told that Diamond cards are Sapphires, the only difference is labeling and Diamond provides end user support.
