SSD build check
This will be my first build with a SSD for the OS. I'm a non-gamer so a super graphics card isn't required but HDMI out is. Any recommendations are welcome. $1,000 budget and will re-use an existing Storm Scout case and some external HD's. Thanks in advance! Eric

Update: I see Tiger has the OCZ OCZSSD2-2VTXE60G Vertex 2 Solid State Drive for about $130 after rebate and BC, seems like a slightly better drive at a cheaper price.

We do not recommend G.skill ram at this time, they have been having quality and compatibility issues. I'd also recommend a 4000 or 5000 series ATI video card, the HDMI on that Nvidia does not pass audio through without jumper cables.

OK thanks GLC, I'll look at the 4 & 5000 ATI cards. Any recommendations for memory with the P7P55D board?

I prefer either 1333 or 1600 ram, CAS 9, 1.5 volt.
