In Win Allure case components
Hello.
I am looking to build my own computer and have fallen in love with this case (Mid Tower, H370mm × W190mm ×D470mm): http://www.inwin-style.com/website/p...13&iw_lanid=0# Unfortunately, I don't have a whole lot of experience with DIY-computers, so I could use some advice. In terms of components, I am puzzled and all I know is that the computer will be used for the following: - World of Warcraft, Civilization V and other non-high-end games. I do however require that these will run smoothly and on the highest settings. - Photoshopping/editing - Browsing, Word documenting, music etc. I'm liking the Intel i7 series but I don't know if that is even realistic for a smaller case and a mATX motherboard? I am looking for suggestions as to components fitting in the case, such as: - GFX - Motherboard - CPU - PSU - Sound card Preferably to a reasonable price and accesible in Denmark. This article lays out how the case is not recommended for gaming setups but that there IS room for a larger gfx. I will not compromise in terms of performance and should I have to, I would rather choose another case. If you have any recommendations on classy, white computer cases, please say so (I'm female ).

the i7 is unrealistic for what you want to do, it is way overkill and way expencive. I wold go with an i5-750, if you want intel.
now before we continue, is there a budget to work with? else you will prolly recieve lots of replies with i7 980x 10 million gb ram 4x xfire 5970 $30k suggestions that just wont help you lol. GLC knows alot more about international shipping so i would wait for his input, but i would reccomend something along the lines of: i5-750 asus p7p55 motherboard radeon HD 5770 video card corsair 650 cmpu powersupply onboard sound western digital caviar black HD the case you picked should work, but i did not check thuroughly that shouldnt be TOO expencive, and would easily play all of those games on max settings.

You can also consider saving some money and going with an AMD system. However budget is very important as Nikon asked, we need to know how much you are looking to spend before we suggest things way out of your budget.

I was thinking of something along the lines of $1000, but I will gladly pay more if the system will suffer greatly from a lower budget. Of course I will also gladly pay less

Nikon, that case only takes micro ATX boards. That is going to be the defining factor for the motherboard. With an Asus P55 chipset board, that would have to be a Maximus III GENE.
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16813131599 Newegg link provided only for reference, they do not ship international. You will probably have to choose the video card very carefully for space reasons. I *believe* the case takes standard ATX power supplies, but you have to carefully consider those too. That motherboard requires one that meets EPS specs - an 8 pin aux connector. |

I did a bit of researching and it seems that the Asus P7P55 comes in a mATX version as well.
Wouldn't that do? http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...n=asus+p7p55-m |

Here is what I recommend for this build and it will all fit nicely into this case and will play your games without any issues.
CPU AMD AM3 945 ASUS M4A88TD-M/USB3 AM3 Motherboard A-DATA 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1333 HIS H577FK1GD Radeon HD 5770 will be a tight fit in this case but in the right hands it can fit. Antec NEO ECO 620C 620W Power Supply Your choice of WD Black size hard drive and optical drive. If you are 100% sold on Intel then disregard my post!

I'm starting to lose faith in my white Allure case. I see pre-built setups with better specs costing the same. If I were to move towards a larger (less problematic, cheaper) case, have you got any recommendations?
I'm looking for something white and classy. In the end I'm looking at spending max $1400 on a total. Thanks again for your replies. |

The case is the big hurdle with this build. White and Beige cases are extremely undesirable in the computer industry. Here is a Logisys white case, not sure if this case I am linking you would consider classy but it is a large case that can fit full size video cards. http://www.outletpc.com/c0719.html
