$1000 Gaming PC
Hi! I'm pretty much a novice in building my own pc and I thought I would come here for some help. You guys seem to know what you're talking about.
I have absolutely no idea what hardware to get. I'm aiming for a gaming pc that is within the $1000 range. Any help would be very appreciated, thanks. |

To make it easier for us, please answer these questions (and anything else you think might help)
- Where you want to buy the parts - Max 1000$ or about 1000$? - How long you intend to use it until you upgrade (optional) - Programs/games you are going to use - General usage - Operating system - Parts you already have (keyboard, mouse etc.) Last edited by Anomo; 08-03-2010 at 06:52 PM. |

Here is something similar to what I am using in my gaming rig other than the video card and power supply that I recommend for you.
AMD Athlon II X4 635 Propus ASUS EAH5850 I am using a 5970 instead SeaSonic S12II 620 I am using the Silver 850 ASUS M4A77TD AM3 AMD 770 Crucial 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1333 Western Digital Caviar Black WD5001AALS 500GB ASUS Black 24X DVD+R 8X Windows 7 Home Premium You will need a large case to fit the video card comfortably. I am using a COOLER MASTER Storm Scout and Dual Asus 24" LCD monitors Hope this helps you out with your build. Don't waste too much money on high end CPU Here is a good sticky post on this forum about how to build the best gaming rigs Building a Gaming Rig 101
