Reboot and select proper boot device
Just built a pc, only to find out it wont load the OS cd when booted. My optical drive is 1st priority on the boot list, followed by my hard drive, followed by a removable disk. When I turn my computer on, it says "Reboot and select proper boot device."
Not really sure what to do. hdd: wd caviar black 500gb mobo: asus m4a785td-M EVO optical drive: asus somthing |

Try another bootable CD. Are you watching the screen for a "press any key to boot from CD" prompt?
