Suggestions for a HTPC without any gaming or complex applications

I want to build a HTPC that only controls the TV and mostly for DVRing using WMC. It will send the DVR file to a separate file server for further proccessing. The HTPC will use Windows 7. In addition, it will run a browser to watch internet TV. No photo/movie editing or gaming on this HTPC.

I'm looking for suggestions on the CPU and hard drive size before I decide on the remaining parts. It seems to me that I could get away with a 2-core, relatively low power requirement chip such as the i5-680. In addition, I could get away with a small hard drive, such as 60 gig. Further, if I could use a small drive, I might want to use a solid state drive thereby reducing noise (and power I assume).

I'll still need a good video card to decode hd and with an hdmi port, I believe.

Any thoughts on the CPU and drive size needs for this type of HTPC?

thank you,
