what cpu mobo combo?

Hi guys I posted about six months and decided to wait before building my new pc. Glad I did now as tech seems to have moved on, prices have dropped and I have lucked into £1000 blank cheque to cover ‘expenses’.

Without wanting to get too caught up in £-$ I thought I’d just post and you guys will figure out my budget. Parts tend to be a little pricier in the uk.

I’m looking to build a pc that will be fluid whilst running the net, some office stuff and playing back video from the hdd simultaneously. Whilst I am not an avid gamer playing new games at a med-high detail so they run smooth is important. The bits I need most advice on are mobo and cpu there are three options I have picked out, the rest of the build is below.

This is where I need some advice. I would probably choose

AMD Athlon II X3 450 3.2GHz Socket AM3 95w 1.5MB L2.. | Ebuyer.com
Asus M4A87TD/USB3 870 Socket AM3 8 Channel Audio ATX.. | Ebuyer.com
= £150 total

Or there is the intel option which is quite a bit more expensive
ASUS P7P55D-E P55 Socket 1156 8 Channel Audio ATX.. | Ebuyer.com
Intel Core i3 550 3.2GHz Socket 1156 4MB L3 Cache.. | Ebuyer.com
=£230

Or a slighly more powerful option only £35 more than the cheap intel choice.
Same mobo as above with
Intel i5 760 2.8GHz Socket 1156 8MB L3 Cache Retail.. | Ebuyer.com
=£265.

Rest of the components are
Case.

At around £100 I like the different position of the mobo as the cooling will be plentiful and quiet with easy access to cables. I prefer the Silverstone fto2r-w but at twice the price I think it eats into the budget too much.

Gpu
MSI GeForce GTX 460 Cyclone 1024MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Card [] Graphics and Video NVIDIA GTX 460 Series
Can get these on offer at £170 which would be the top of my budget for a gpu. Cheapest 5830 is at £162 and the 5850 at £200.

Ram
Probably go with ddr3 4gb/6gb depending on mobo channels. Around £70-£100 decent brand. G-Skill 4GB DDR3 1333MHz Ripjaws Memory Module.. | Ebuyer.com

SSD
Crucial RealSSD C300 64GB 2.5" SSD SATA 6Gb/s (CTFDDAC064MAG-1) - dabs.com have used a pc with the os on ssd and was amazed at the difference it was so quick and responsive, expensive for memory but worth it I think at £100.

HDD
Samsung HD103SJ Spinpoint F3 1TB Hard Drive SATAII.. | Ebuyer.com
At less than £50 for 1TB its about £30 cheaper than a wd caviar black.

PSU
Be Quiet Special Edition White 600W E7 Modular PSU | Ebuyer.com
Seems to be half the price everywhere else sells it for. Not dead set on this but I would like modular at a reasonable price.
