Both are momentary switches - normally open.
I don't think there is a standard for case light colors. My case has a blue light for when the computer is on, a red light for hard drive activity and a flashing pink light for when the mother in law calls.

Yeah, I think the light colors are just whatever the company feels like putting in there at the time. The computers I've built have had Antec cases and both of them have had green for power on and yellow for hard drive activity. But, my neighbor's HP has a blue light for each of those functions, and the one I used while in college had a red power light and a green hard drive light. So....take your pick.
![]() And just to be agreeing, David's right on the switches. Momentary, normally open on both.

thanks for the replys...
i figured they were both normally open momentary switches... but 2 of the 3 cases i have clicked when i pushed them. and i couldn't put a meter on them to check. i was really sick last night or i could have hooked something up it check it. i had a fever of 103* and a migraine yesterday morning.. it was down to 99* last night. it is back to normal this morning...my usual 97.7 the meds are pretty bad, very drowsy.. I'll have to wait to go out. i figured i could save a trip by getting the battery and the switches, thanks again for all your help through the years. i love this place..!! |
