Send a message via Skype™ to Nikon
looks good to my eyes, only thing i would say is since your mobo supports sata 6gbps, go get the sata 6gbps version of that HDD.

Change on some parts if they will work if anyone can advice me

Thanks for your help. I changed some of the parts if they will work. I changed the CPU, memory, video card, and the motherboard. Will these changes to the above still work with getting the full 24g of ram? I would like all 24g to work. All the rest of my build will stay the same

MOTHERBOARD: Intel Core i7-950 Bloomfield 3.06GHz 4 x 256KB L2 Cache 8MB L3 Cache LGA 1366 130W Quad-Core Processor BX80601950.

VIDEO CARD: EVGA 012-P3-1570-AR GeForce GTX 570 (Fermi) 1280MB 320-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready SLI Support Video Card.

MEMORY: G.SKILL Ripjaws Series 24GB (6 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1333 (PC3 10666) Desktop Memory Model F3-10666CL9T2-24GBRL.

CPU: Intel Core i7-950 Bloomfield 3.06GHz 4 x 256KB L2 Cache 8MB L3 Cache LGA 1366 130W Quad-Core Processor BX80601950

You listed the CPU for the motherboard and the general recommendation is not to use the 1366 socket CPU due to stablity issues with the chipset. And we don't recommend Gskill ram due to quailty issues they have had.
Would probably stick with your orginal AMD rig unless you want Intel.

Sorry about that here's the motherboard ASUS Rampage III Formula LGA 1366 Intel X58 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard. So is there any other ram that will work that will get all 24g to work well?

Birddog put up a pretty good list, and id definatly consider the 2500k or 2600k processors, they are pretty quick and a lot faster than the 6 core AMD in most applications.

Also 24GB of RAM is a flat out waste of money. For anyone. The most you'd ever need is 6-8 depending on if your chipset requires triple or dual channel memory.

What will you be using this computer for?

Note to Birddog: It's better to recommend ram kits with 4gb modules instead of 2gb modules, especially when the user wants to max out the ram. Your recommendations have used all 4 slots with only 8gb. I do like your Sabertooth recommendation but not the micro-ATX board recommendation.

The reason for the 2gb modules was this smelled like a gaming rig to me, 8gb is more than enough for any game out there at the moment, and is pretty future proof also. I have not heard of a home build PC rig ever actually needing 32 gb, but I will keep it in mind and start recommending 4gb modules.
In 4gb modules 1333mhz

1600mhz

The micro ATX board I recommended for the system that he was just going to put together and leave alone, because it doesn't work well with OC and is the less expensive option. However after looking at it again it does not support SLI either only Crossfire and therefor I believe not suitable for a gaming rig. Instead I would recommend
Newegg.com - ASUS P8P67 PRO LGA 1155 Intel P67 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard
for the non OC build.

If your gaming, 8gb of ram is more than enough. The big question I have is do you actually plan on getting into overclocking or are you just going to leave it alone. Answering that question makes a big difference in the price of the system I would recommend.

For gaming, the video card is far more important than the CPU. *ANY* of the Sandy Bridges would make an excellent gamer - even the i5-2300.

If I were going to get the P8P67 Pro, I think I'd spend just a bit more and get the Sabertooth. To me, the TUF system and the 5 year warranty make it WELL worth it.

Will this ram work with this motherboard?
ASUS Crosshair IV Formula AM3 AMD 890FX SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX AMD Motherboard

Also will it work with all 16g of ram? If I ever decide to upgrade it up to full 16g I will be able to if it works.

Go to the Asus site and find your motherboard - there will be a link to a memory compatibility list, Asus calls it a "QVL". Your link is broken.
