Budget Gaming Build < $1K

Hey guys. My roommate has decided to switch from a laptop to a desktop as his main system and he has asked me to build him a budget desktop for gaming. As of now, his budget stands under $1,000 with no exact values. No overclocking will be done. This system will be used for gaming mostly. So here is what I have so far...

PSU:
Corsair CMPSU-550VX
RAM: Kingston KVR1333D3K2/4GR
Fans:Cooler Master R4-LUS-07AB-GP
Case: Cooler Master RC-912-KKN1
MB: ASUS M4A88T-V EVO/USB3
GPU: Sapphire 100282TXSR
CPU: AMD HDX550WFGMBOX
HDD: Western Digital WD6400AAKS
ODD: Lite-On iHAS-324-98

No OS is needed since we will be re-using one. The total comes to $849.90. What do you guys think?

I like the build, may consider a WD black if it is within budget.

Agreed, the Blue is pretty much an entry-level drive.

Ok so, I changed the HDD from Blue to Black. I also swapped the original CPU for this one: Newegg.com - AMD Phenom II X2 545 Callisto 3.0GHz 2 x 512KB L2 Cache 6MB L3 Cache Socket AM3 80W Dual-Core Processor HDX545WFK2DGI - Processors - Desktops and added this to the list: Newegg.com - ZALMAN CNPS9700 LED 110mm 2 Ball CPU Cooler

Unless your going to overclock there's no need for that CPU cooler.
Looking at the processor I see that it doesn't come with one.
I'd suggest sticking with the one you had originally listed.
