New office workstation/server build
Hi;
I'm building a new computer for my office. This will serve as my workstation, and have a dedicated drive to share files with the 4 other company work stations on a simple peer-to-peer LAN. I don't have a budget--I just want quality, reliability, and ample power. I don't want a bunch of unused power sitting there doing nothing. I went with the Core i3 since I don't see the need for a quad core in this environment. I'm already doing the same job with a first generation Core2Duo E6300. My main concern is the hard drives being quick, so I selected the WD Blacks. I found these components based on threads here, so hopefully I selected good stuff already. However, I would still like to hear any suggestions/comments you might have. I would also like to hear any thoughts concerning the on-processor Intel video. Seems sufficient for a workstation...? If your priority is quick hard drives, go SATA 6.0.
