Some advice

So, I'm planning to build a nice gaming PC in January 2011 for about 1.400 euro = +- 1820 $

I already make a list of components for my new PC. I have read a lot of test, but I'm not sure of my setup is right.

The custom plan is to build a good Gaming PC, with nice OC possibilities.
So I'm asking you for some advice about my list.

I already have a LCD-monitor and a mouse and keyboard but no PC, that is freaky I know.

P.s Sorry for my terrible English.

That's my list:

Motherboard:Asus Crosshair IV Formula (AM3 socket)
CPU: AMD Phenom II X6 1090T (Black Edition)
CPU COOLER: Corsair Cooling Hydro Series H70
Ram:Kingston HyperX 4GB DDr3-1333 Kit
GPU: Sapphire HD5850 Vapor-X OC 1GB
HDD: Western Digital WD1002FAEX 1 TB
Power: Corsair CMPSU-750HX
Case: Aerocool Vx-9 Pro
Optical Drive: Sony Optiarc AD-5260S-0B
System: Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium

At this moment all of that costs 1.391 euro = +- 1.808 $

I'll be really glad if you'll help me.

For gaming, spend less on the CPU and more on the video card. There's not a game out there that can use 6 cores.

XFX is to be avoided. Go with the Asus, Diamond, or Sapphire.

I heard that Asus GPU is to be avoided, I think in Europe Diamond doesn't sell their cards... Sapphire is the smartest option in ATI. Because Nvidia isn't good now and GTX 295 is still quite expensive.

It is also possible to buy a 5850 Sapphire Toxic.

What do you think about Club3D?? I don't hear much complaining about their cards.

Club3D is unknown in Angloamerica.

Where did you hear that about Asus? It's the top brand.

I don't know the market in US or Canada, but I heard that people got a lot of problems with those cards(ASUS): a lot of noise, cards that burn during gaming... stuff like that.

You can go with Sapphire then, for peace of mind. They're decent cards.

Nvidia is fine. Who is saying this? It depends on what you want that will determine which brand is best for you.

I mean the new 400 series... I don't know of they that good for the price that they cost, for that price of 470 I can have a better card from ATI I think.

For example: EVGA GeForce GTX 480 SuperClocked cost in Europe 420 euro and the parameters aren't excellent.

For 10 euro more I have a Asus MATRIX P/5870/2DIS and the parameters are better, that's for sure.

In my opinion ATI provides better cards than Nvidia for the same price.
From Nvidia i still prefer GTX 295.

All the answers suggest to invest in ATI.
