Hello!
I have a plan for a system I am making, Here are the parts I'm thinking about buying: AMD x2 640 3.2Ghz RAM 2G DDR3 500g SATAII 400w 80+ MSI 770-C45 AX5670 512MD5-PPDH I want to make sure everything with work together fine before I buy the parts. Please tell me if there is anything wrong with this configuration. I just want something that can play the following at about 30+ fps: Valve games (HL2, Portal, TF2, etc) Minecraft Call of duty 1-4 Quake III based games Last edited by andrew1421lee; 11-18-2010 at 12:02 AM. |

In theory that does look good (except you might need a better PSU), but could you add the specific items you are considering buying?
For all we know that ram could be some cheap Chinese ram or it could be corsair. There is a big difference :P

For motherboards and video cards, look for Asus. For ram, look for Corsair. For power supplies, look for Corsair. For hard drives, look for Western Digital. If possible, buy them all from the same shop, it will make it easier to get service if you have problems.
