I'd change the ram brand to Corsair, Crucial, Kingston, or A-Data. I'd buy it without a sound card and try the onboard sound first. I'd use a different brand PSU.

+1 on all but the sound card recommendation: unless you're really constrained in your budget, if you're a serious gamer buy the sound card.

thnx for the reply, Corsair was my first choice in RAM, but I wanna try a different brand and if there is a big gap between the performance I would buy Corsair, I'm also looking on the design, how it looks. What PSU would best fit my rig? I'm into gaming and I am planning on creating an online gaming server so I maybe running my PC 24/7 if I must. thanks a lot dude!

i would not recommend that cpu in a gamer. Dont get me wrong, the x6 line of amd cpu's are great for power users, but they (for some reason) fall behind in the gaming area. your best bet for an amd gamer is to use a 965 or a 970. this is coming from first hand experience, as well as many other reviews and articles i have read.

read through this article from tomshardware, it should help enlighten you.

Do you mean the amd ii x4 970? I will go and see reviews. It's only four core cpu, does it have something to do with the durability? It's cheaper though. Thank you for the reply!

In reference to the ram, G.skill has had some quality and compatibility issues recently. My recommendation has nothing to do with performance, the difference between brands is virtually nonexistent.

I recommend a Corsair PSU, but not the CX series. VERY nice price on this one right now:

Newegg.com - CORSAIR CMPSU-650TX 650W ATX12V / EPS12V SLI Ready CrossFire Ready 80 PLUS Certified Active PFC Compatible with Core i7 Power Supply
