1333Ghz RAM and c2 AMD processor issue

Hi.

I'm building a new computer. I have the MSI 890Gx and Ripjaws 4gb dual channel 1600Ghz DDR3. The thing is, I'm missing a processor (quad-core to be specific). I have to go for AMD and then I ran into the c2 and c3 (GIBOX and GMBOX) dilemma. I read that c2 only supports up to 1066Ghz RAM. But then I read that a good board (like mine) can fix the 1066Ghz RAM problem and make it able to see my 1600Ghz RAM, and that c3 is only better for OCing which I won't do.

So, what do you guys say? Is a vital matter to go for c3, specially since I already have 1600Ghz RAM? Will a c2 support my actual RAM without downgrading it? MSI 890gx only supports up to 1333Ghz when not overclocked and as I said before, I won't overclock mine.

Would appreciate some words on the subject, thanks.

your board supports 140w am3 processors.. im confused about the rest.... new terms to me lol.

1600 mhz ram is only needed by overclockers. standard is 1333. memorycontrollers should automaticly set the speed. you MAY have to do it manually, but 1333 is the sweet spot.

My board supports 1333mhz RAM, but it seems like c2 stepping does not. c2 stepping goes up to 1066mhz. What I'm asking is: will my board be able to see the 1333mhz even althrough the cpu bondaries?
