First time build
Hey everybody, my first time here. I'm a newbie and just recently built my first computer and have a question. Everything is up and running fine. Here's my question, I did not backup my old HD. I have put it in a HD enclosure, so now it is a external drive. Installed win7 64 bit on new computer. Can I simply connect my old hard drive(still has win7 32bit OS on it) to my new build and drop and drag pics, vids, docs, from it to my new computer without any adverse affect to new computer. My main concern is will the OS on the old HD in any way affect my new system.
New system is gigabyte MB with AMD 9750 CPU, 4gb ram, corsair 450w PSU, MSI Radeon 5450 GPU. Any input will b greatly appreciated. |

You can drag and drop old files by connecting your old C: drive to the new motherboard. Before you can install your old files you must have the related software installed to the new C: drive.

No problem - just connect it. It should mount with a drive letter. I'd hotplug it if it's USB, don't try to boot with it connected.
