Care to check my ram?

Hello all,

You have all been so helpful in the past, that I wanted to see if you would mind checking the ram that I have chosen for this build

Here is a Newegg wishlist link.

This computer is very close to the computer that I built for my father on this thread Check my performance "budget" build

What I am mainly concerned with is the RAM. for my fathers, we were planning on capping it at 8GB and we got a good deal on 4X2GB sticks. For this build, it is very possible that we will be taking it up to 16G in the future, so I wanted to buy 2X4GB so it can be upgraded easier later.

Do you think that Corsair will work ok?

Well....It looks like that mobo just went out of stock. I will need to look into some other ones now. Any suggestions around the same pricepoint? I would like to stick with ASUS...

This might be better. It looks like this one can have usb3.0, sata 6gb/s, and PCIe 16X all at the same time. The other one could not.

Correct! It can also run Crossfire or SLI with both slots at x8.

I just ordered the parts off of Newegg and am waiting for them to be shipped.

Have a safe New Year!
