Comments and help wanted on new Gaming build.

I'm fairly new to this and would like your opinion on this build.
I'm having a hard time choosing a video card. I have a 22 inch monitor and will spend 250ish on a graphics card.

Mobo - ASUS P7P55D-E Pro LGA1156

Case - Coolermaster Haf 912 Black Mid Tower ATX

Power supply - Corsair TX650W 650W ATX

Memory - Corsair CMV4GX3M2A1333C9 4GB DDR3 2X2GB DDR3-1333 CL9 Dual Channel Memory Kit

Hard Drive - Western Digital Caviar Black 1TB SATA3 6GB/S 7200RPM 64MB Cache 3.5IN Dual Proc Hard Drive

Optical Drive- ASUS DRW-24B1ST 24X SATA DVD Writer OEM Black

OS - Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium Edition 64BIT DVD OEM

Graphics Card - GTX 460,470 HD 6850,6870 ????

Thanks

The best video cards in the $250 bracket are the 6870 and GTX470. The 6870 uses a lot less power and runs cooler.

Newegg.com - HIS H687F1G2M Radeon HD 6870 1GB 256-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 2.1 x16 HDCP Ready CrossFireX Support Video Card with Eyefinity

Newegg.com - ASUS ENGTX470/2DI/1280MD5/V2 GeForce GTX 470 (Fermi) 1280MB 320-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready SLI Support Video Card

The rest of the build is essentially perfect.

What's your opinion of this card. It seems to be pretty popular. But some say it can get pretty hot.
Newegg.com - EVGA 012-P3-1470-AR GeForce GTX 470 (Fermi) 1280MB 320-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready SLI Support Video Card

Would there be heat issues with the the setup I have planned? Or Would I be better off going with the 6870 you recomended.

Thanks again

It's not so much a heat issues inside the case as it is having a PSU that is powerful enough. The other issue is the wasting of energy. The PSU you chose will power the 470. The case you chose has good enough ventilation.
