Ok I asked this a while ago and now am ready to purchase. Here is what I plan for:
1. Light AutoCAD, SolidEDGE, Chief Architect usage
2. Run windows XP and my legacy programs and Ubuntu. Mainly Ubuntu.
3. Stream Media and use the PC as my BLU ray.

Here is my build please let me know if I have any glaring errors, or places where I have missed and could save a bundle. Thanks alot I appreciate this forum alot.

ASUS P7H55-M PRO LGA 1156 Intel H55 HDMI Micro ATX Intel Motherboard
Intel Core i3-550 Clarkdale 3.2GHz LGA 1156 73W Dual-Core Desktop Processor BX80616I3550
Antec EarthWatts Green EA-430D Green 430W Continuous power ATX12V v2.3 / EPS 12V 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified Active PFC Power Supply
CORSAIR 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1333 Desktop Memory Model CMV4GX3M2A1333C9

LITE-ON Black Blu-ray Disc Combo SATA Model iHES208-08 LightScribe Support

and either this case:

You will probably find that you will need a video card to do the things you mention in (1). With that in mind, I think I'd be ready for it and get the Three Hundred case and a bit stronger power supply. After rebate, this PSU is actually cheaper:

Newegg.com - Antec EarthWatts EA650 650W Continuous Power ATX12V Ver.2.2 / EPS12V version 2.91 SLI Certified CrossFire Ready 80 PLUS Certified Active PFC "compatible with Core i7/Core i5" Power Supply

Thanks dude

That is the type of advice I was looking for.

The ideal dimensions for the case are: 12" High by 10.5" Wide

If I have to choose between the dimension or the ability to expand to a video card or whatever than I will choose the bigger case.

Thanks again. This is a great help.
