Please copy and paste the components into the thread. We can't view your shopping cart.

Still can't see anything. G meant to copy and paste each individual link to each of your chosen components.

What I'd suggest is copy the names and links to your components into a txt file. It helps for your own use as well as helping everyone at PCMech to see what your working with. Newegg is a great company, but their site isn't as functional as say Amazon. Links to wishlists and the like don't work that well.

That did the trick. A couple of things jump out. Since your not a gamer, the video card is overkill. Video and photo work doesn't typically use the video card that much actually so unless you need hdmi, the on-board video on the motherboard may actually work for you.
I would strongly recommend that you check the sticky here on PSUs. On first blush, I wouldn't trust that Sunbeam. The power to price ratio is quite a bit off. |

Video editing and Photoshop benefit from a video card, but you don't have to get one that strong. I have a few quibbles with your choices, so here we go:
Case: Excellent Mobo/CPU combo: If that's what you want, fine. I'm an Intel person. Ram: If you do want 8 gb, get a 4 gb x 2 pair instead. 1333 speed, Corsair is fine, also Crucial. Kingston, or A-Data. Hard drive: Seagate has been having issues. I'd recommend a Western Digital Black for your OS and software. No need to get that big a drive, what you would want is a second drive for all your data. On that one, you can go big, something like a Western Digital Green or Blue would be fine. Optical drive: You haven't picked one. Get a SATA DVD burner, any brand that Newegg lists except Samsung. I go for cheap, look for the ones with free shipping. Today's cheapie is an Asus, $16.99 shipped. Video card: Excellent deal here: Newegg.com - SAPPHIRE 100253HDMI Radeon HD 4650 512MB 128-bit GDDR2 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready CrossFireX Support Low Profile Ready Video Card Power supply: Newegg.com - Antec EarthWatts EA-500D Green 500W ATX12V v2.3 / EPS12V 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified Active PFC Power Supply |

Retail CPUs like you have come with an acceptable heatsink / fan stock. You'll read the enthusests and overclockers looking at aftermarket heatsinks, but for your application and for a first time builder, they're more trouble then they're worth. You know the one that comes with the chip will work.

Gatito, just a question: what program are you going to be using for video editing? Premiere Pro requires a video card, and benefits greatly from the CUDA technology. Photoshop just requires OpenGL support.
From Adobe's minimum requirements for PS: Quote:

6.5 is 8 years old and does not need much of a video card. The 4650 I linked is more than enough.
