Little more PC build advice would be appreciated :)

Ok this is part two of my gaming build, i've made a lot of changes and didnt know if i should post it in my old thread or not, if it has to be merged then by all means mods do so
Question, when i buy all of these parts, will they come with the wires so i can hook them up? or will i have to buy them sep? from my reading i guess OEM HDD's come only with the drive? what about the other components ?

Also is there anything else that i can change to cut cost? budget was 700, but if it goes a little over that it's fine.

My parts

All the required cables will come with the motherboard. I think your build is fine but you can look at my changes, everything else looks good. You can cut cost by going to a different CPU but that is a great CPU for the money. You could go with a dual core and knock off 60.00 and try to unlock cores, if so, go with a dual core black edition callisto http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16819103846. there is a good chance of unlocking one to two additional cores. The Power supply is a good choice

I would change the motherboard to ASUS M4A87TD EVO AM3
Newegg.com - ASUS M4A87TD EVO AM3 AMD 870 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX AMD Motherboard

I would stick with 1.5v memory, although the one you chose will work.
Newegg.com - Crucial 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1066 (PC3 8500) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory Model CT2KIT25664BA1067

Virtually the same card but better support
Newegg.com - ASUS EAH5670/DI/1GD5 Radeon HD 5670 (Redwood) 1GB 128-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 2.1 x16 HDCP Ready CrossFireX Support Video Card

550w is just about the sweet spot for a system with a video card. Could probably go down to 450w with that video card but you wouldn't have much headroom.
4gigs is a good starting place for ram.

1. In your opinion why should i choose the ASUS mobo over the one i have?
2. For the video card you chose, better support meaning?

K thanks, i'll stick with the RAM and PSU

Thanks for the fast responses

EDIT: I also downgraded the CPU to the AMD Phenom II X4 955 Black Edition , looked at the benches and 20 bucks isnt worth the default speed when i can just OC it

Asus is better than Gigabyte. Both are good, though, it's just that most people trust Asus over anything else because they've been the top dog for so many years.

Asus is the preferred brand on this forum. they are known for quality, stability, reliability, and great customer support in the event you run into a issue. The ram I picked for you is very stable but to each his own. The Asus utilities are much better than Gigabytes for what it's worth.

I am sorry, this is the one I meant to recommend
Newegg.com - Crucial 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1333 (PC3 10600) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory Model CT2KIT25664BA1339 and it is less.

Another question, the MOBO specs say Number of Memory Slots:
4×240pin

Ordering 2 sticks 4 GB total , will i be able to buy 2 more sticks of the same RAM to upgrade it to 8GB or will i have to buy 2 4GB sticks>?

You can buy two more sticks of 2gb to up the total to 8gb, same model number and brand of the existing ram is a plus. Getting some other brand/model number/voltage/timing can and will be a mess.

Ok yet another question i think im getting addicted lol

I wanna bump up the GPU

Would i be able to use this card?
Newegg.com - HIS H577FK1GD Radeon HD 5770 (Juniper XT) 1GB 128-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 2.1 x16 HDCP Ready CrossFireX Support Video Card w/ Eyefinity

====

And if im able to use the card, would you suggest this

XFX HD-577A-ZNFC Radeon HD 5770 (Juniper XT) 1GB 128-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready CrossFireX Support Video Card

Newegg.com - XFX HD-577A-ZNFC Radeon HD 5770 (Juniper XT) 1GB 128-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready CrossFireX Support Video Card

or this

HIS H577FK1GD Radeon HD 5770 (Juniper XT) 1GB 128-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 2.1 x16 HDCP Ready CrossFireX Support Video Card w/ Eyefinity

Newegg.com - HIS H577FK1GD Radeon HD 5770 (Juniper XT) 1GB 128-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 2.1 x16 HDCP Ready CrossFireX Support Video Card w/ Eyefinity
"450 Watt or greater power supply with one 75W 6-pin PCI Express power connectors recommended"

The PSU says "PCI-Express Connector
1 x 6-Pin"

But it doesnt say 75W , should it specifically say 75 W or no?

The BP550 Plus will run any video card out there that needs one or two 6 pin PCI-E connectors.

If you want a 5770, this is the best deal out there:

Newegg.com - HIS H577FK1GD Radeon HD 5770 (Juniper XT) 1GB 128-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 2.1 x16 HDCP Ready CrossFireX Support Video Card w/ Eyefinity
