New member and new byoc
Hi All. New to the site and first time builder of my own computer. My system includes:
HEC Blitz ATX Mid Tower case HEC X-Power Pro 650W PSU ASUS P6X58D Premium mobo Intel i7-960 processor Corsair Vengence 12GB 1600 MHz ram ATI FirePro 2450 Multi-view graphics card LG 24x DVD burner WD Caviar Black 1 TB 6.0Gb/s drive Windows Home Premium 64-bit Was able to purchase mobo, processor and grahics card on eBay. Rest of components thru Newegg. ![]() Just finished assembly and experiencing problems with the system starting up. Got power to everything, but getting ram error from the mobo. ![]() I look forward to exchanging ideas and getting input from all of you experienced techs out there! Hopefully I will gain some of that knowledge and be able to pass it along to others, too. Joe |

You either have defective ram or a defective motherboard. Try it with one ram stick at a time.
