New build problems

OK, just finished my build tonight but im having a few problems. I originally had some problems with my power button not working but I figured that out, however, it only seems to be working when I want to turn the computer on...I have to long press it to turn it off.

Also, I can't seem to get any video feed everything powers up and appears...to be working ok. My cd drive is blinking and wont open...if that helps determine the problem.

Just a shot in the dark, I'm really not the person to take advice from, but I had a video issue in the past similar and it's because I needed to connect the monitor to the motherboard video put first, configure the after market graphics card, then I could restart and plug into the after market card.

My motherboard does not have a video output if thats what you mean but thanks for trying
