Sandy Bridge, and options?
Ok, well, my new 1155 Asus mother board is defective... sucks for me. newegg sent me an email and said as long as I use sata6 drives, I'll be ok. I planned on buying new drives for this build anyway, so I can meet that demand easily. (Youtube video with explaination: [ YouTube - Newegg TV: Sandy Bridge Design Issue Explanation & Workaround ]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tJcE2alQPvY)
The real issue, newegg also pulled the plug on the i7 2600k.. so I can't put a CPU on the board.. The board I bought is the: MB ASUS|P8P67 EVO P67 LGA1155 R Should I just wait this out? The 2600k seems like a powerhouse. What are some optional boards that I can start a new build with? I'm looking to do some hardcore gaiming and I'd like it a little future proof. Looking for advice. |

Return it. Get one when the bug's been ironed out. Or if you have to build now, get an 1156 package. Yes, this means returning the CPU as well.
