built my 1st pc about 7 years ago, and it's still a good system, however, it's been giving me abit of trouble lately and it's built on a Socket 939 platform, so I figured I'd build another. lemme know what you think.

Wellllll.......yes and no.

Use an Asus motherboard.
Use an Asus or EVGA video card if you want Nvidia.
Don't use the Dominator ram - get a single 4gb x 2 kit of standard XMS3 and add a second set later if you REALLY need more than 8gb (very doubtful).
Get the Black drives instead of Green - and if you are thinking RAID, not recommended. More trouble than it's worth unless you are doing it for a server and are using a true hardware-based RAID card.

Do you really need 6 cores? If you are building a gamer, you don't.
