Spec Check Please!
Trying to spec up a mid-highish range pc. It will be used for music production (Cubase, Reason & Ableton) and photo editing (PS CS4) as well as general word processing, browsing etc. No gaming though, well apart from the odd game of solitaire!

I would change to this card...better support.
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...-352-_-Product Or this card which also has good support and is overclocked a little. Newegg.com - DIAMOND 5750PE51G Radeon HD 5750 1GB 128-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready CrossFireX Support Video Card Increase to eight gigs of RAM. Media editing software can sometimes use quite a bit of RAM. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...-279-_-Product More reliable drive... Newegg.com - Western Digital Caviar Black WD1002FAEX 1TB 7200 RPM 64MB Cache SATA 6.0Gb/s 3.5" Internal Hard Drive -Bare Drive Boxed, non-OEM, CPU's come with a cooler. You will not need an aftermarket CPU cooler unless you plan on overclocking or want a quieter cooler. The monitor you selected only appears to be available in the UK. Is this where you are? Are you certain you want a really inexpensive monitor for photo editing? If it's in your budget you want an IPS (8-10 bit color) over a TN (6 bit) monitor. With a TN the color can vary radically with the viewing angle as well. All the different flavors of Asus P8P67's are sold out right now at Newegg. Assuming you are in the UK, I see that Amazon UK has a number of Asus 1155 boards in stock. Any 1155 board will work with the CPU you selected. http://www.amazon.co.uk/s/ref=nb_sb_...d+1155&x=0&y=0
