Looking For Some Feedback on my PC Build

Hello! I am new to PC Building, and my urge to make a PC from scratch has finally taken over. So I've been doing some homework and came up with a build that I think should work. I just wanted some more experienced people to let me know what they think, if there might be problems, etc. Here's the setup:

-Antec Three Hundred Illusion ATX Mid Tower (18.3" x 8.10" x 18.00")
-SAMSUNG Spinpoint F3 HD502HJ 500GB 7200RPM SATA HD
-AMD Phenom II X6 1090T Black Edition Thuban 3.2GHz
-MSI 890FXA-GD70 AM3 AMD 890FX SATA 6GB/s ATX Motherboard
-PowerColor Radeon HD 6850 1GB 256-Bit GDDR5 PCI-E 2.0
-Corsair XMS3 6GB DDR3 SDRAM 1600MHz
-Corsair CMPSU-750TX 750-Watt PSU
-Microsoft Windows 7 64-Bit Home Premium

-I skipped on an internal DVD drive because I have a Toshiba USB DVD Drive? Will a USB DVD drive be good enough? The thing cost me like $70 I'd like to keep it.

-I have a 32" LCD TV with an HDMI cable that I was hoping to hook this thing up to? Will that work? It has a DVI-D port on the side, as well as a D-Sub port.

I also threw in some Arctic Silver 5. The whole system comes up to just under $1,000. Sorry if there is a little too much information!

Would look to a WD Black for the hard drive. Samsung's drives tend to be not the best quailty.. An internal DVD drive are only around $30, so it's not a big budget item.
Look to Asus or Gigabyte for a motherboard, MSIs have had quailty issues.

1. Recommend a Western Digital Caviar Black SATA 6.0 drive instead of a Samsung.
2. Recommend an Asus motherboard.
3. Recommend an Asus, Diamond, or HIS video card.
4. Do not buy a 3 module ram kit. Buy 2 or 4 with 2 preferred. That would give you 4gb or 8gb. Corsair is good, as is Crucial, Kingston, or A-Data. 1333 speed is all you need unless you plan on overclocking.
5. Keep your external DVD, but put an internal DVD burner in it, it's only 20 bucks.

You won't need the AS5, and use HDMI.

You could save some money and get a 650TX power supply. That's still more than enough power.
