Confused about GPU compatibility?
Hey, so here is the problem. I'm looking to get the GeForce GTX 560 Ti, but I'm not sure if it's compatible with my motherboard the Asus P8P67. The motherboard says the Memory is DDR3, which I'm getting 8GB corsair vengance @ 1600 Mhz. The GPU says its GDDR5. Does this mean it can't support the GPU? And if you need the info my CPU is going to be the i5 2500k.
Secondly, from what I've heard, the 560 Ti is better than the Radeon 6870, is this correct? My use is for gaming. GDDR is specific to graphics card, hence the "G". Not related to system RAM.

They are compatible. And the 560 is better overall for gaming. Heres side by side comparison of the two though.
