What do you think of this PC?

I ran across this PC at newegg.ca, and I know this is a building your own site, I was looking for feed back on this pre-built unit. Its features are amost excately what I am looking for (prefer Asus MB, rather than a Gygebit). Is it a good deal (canadian dollars), or do you think it is cheaper to build, and have control over which components are installed? Any feed back is appreciated.

Try this link below, it should work.

Without knowing the brand of the ram/PSU/hard drive, you could be buying a pile of crap. If I were to buy a prebuild, I would want to kn ow to brand and model of every component to evaluate the system.

The link you posted is not showing a specific computer but I agree with Flanzig, if it is not describing all the parts then run for the hills because you have no idea what you are getting.

How long is the warranty? That's an indication of how long they expect a certain percentage to be returned under warranty and still make a buck. The profit margin on cheap computers is very thin. It's a bad business idea to offer long warranties on products that are probably not going to be reliable.

Here it is on the US site:

Newegg.com - CyberpowerPC Gamer Xtreme 1308 Intel Core i5 2500K(3.30GHz) 8GB DDR3 1TB HDD Capacity ATI Radeon HD 5770 Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit

Not enough video card for a gaming PC in that price range.
