New Build Review

Hello, I'm looking to build a PC with primary usage being for gaming.

My budget is more based on bang for buck verses cutting edge or budget , and I think that would be around 1k to 1.5k

My picks are based mostly on recommendations that I've seen by reading the forums.

I'm not planning on OC or SLI/Crossfire.

I'm open to any review suggestions etc. Thanks in advance for assistance.

That looks like a good build to me. The only thing I might do different is to have a regular sized ATX board, but that one will work.

The only reason to consider Win 7 Pro is if you need XP Mode and extra management tools, primarily network-oriented.

I would probably get a P8P67 LE board.

Thanks,

Switching to this Board.

ASUS P8P67 LE (REV 3.0) LGA 1155 Intel P67 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard

Any preference on the two Cases I linked. Does either one have an advantage, i'm looking for a good case without neon lights.

Personal preference. Read the reviews. I hate lights too.
