RAM: Newegg.com - CORSAIR XMS 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Desktop Memory Model CMX8GX3M2A1600C9

GPU: Newegg.com - EVGA 01G-P3-1373-AR GeForce GTX 460 (Fermi) Superclocked EE 1GB 256-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready SLI Support Video Card

Your power supply is really keeping you from upgrading your video card. It doesn't say what brand your PSU is so I'm assuming at 600 W it wouldn't be able to do much more than that card. Its a great card though. Plays Starcraft 2 and Left 4 Dead 2 at max settings.

Ok if you can spend the 600 this is what I would do, go with the corsair memory Sourtop posted. Buy a new PSU,
Newegg.com - CORSAIR Enthusiast Series CMPSU-650TX 650W ATX12V / EPS12V SLI Ready CrossFire Ready 80 PLUS Certified Active PFC Compatible with Core i7 Power Supply

Newegg.com - Antec EarthWatts EA650 650W Continuous Power ATX12V Ver.2.2 / EPS12V version 2.91 SLI Certified CrossFire Ready 80 PLUS Certified Active PFC "compatible with Core i7/Core i5" Power Supply
I prefer the corsair for 5 bucks more. That leaves you roughly 450 to spend on a graphics card, or if you stick to your original budget 250. What resolution are you gaming at? If you simply want the most HP from the money left over it would go like this.
600$ budget 450 left over. Just over your budget
Newegg.com - EVGA 015-P3-1580-AR GeForce GTX 580 (Fermi) 1536MB 384-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready SLI Support Video Card
Just under budget.
Newegg.com - EVGA SuperClocked 012-P3-1572-AR GeForce GTX 570 (Fermi) 1280MB 320-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready SLI Support Video Card
Newegg.com - HIS H697FT2G2M Radeon HD 6970 2GB 256-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 2.1 x16 HDCP Ready CrossFireX Support Video Card with Eyefinity

400 Budget aprox 250$ left over.
Newegg.com - EVGA 01G-P3-1561-AR GeForce GTX 560 Ti FPB (Fermi) 1GB 256-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready SLI Support Video Card
Newegg.com - HIS IceQ X Turbo H695QNT1G2M Radeon HD 6950 1GB 256-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 2.1 x16 HDCP Ready CrossFireX Support Video Card with Eyefinity

Definitely follow birddog's advice. Your PSU will only get you so far and if it isn't a reliable brand its likely going to cause you trouble later. With your budget you could easily get a top tier gaming GPU and a solid PSU.

Birddog, you forgot to account for the memory upgrade (I think....).

Lucerion, would you please open the case and look at the label on the power supply? Post the brand and model. Do you want 8gb MORE ram or a TOTAL of 8gb?

Replace the PSU. There's no such thing as a quality 600 watt PSU for 26 bucks. The Corsair 650TX would be an excellent choice.

For ram, buy any DDR3-1333 2 X 2GB dual channel kit, made by Corsair, Crucial, Kingston, or A-Data.

That leaves you with about $250 out out of your original budget correct?
With that, I would get an ATI Radeon 6950 - Sapphire and if you're willing to Bios flash it to a 6970. You'll need an extra $20 dollars for the original buy, but you'll get a rebate lowering it down to $230 which is a banging deal. If you don't want to Bios flash it, I'm not sure how that compares with a 560Ti, but they're similarly priced.
