PC Case Upgrade
I am thinking about using this:
Newegg.com - SILVERSTONE RAVEN RV02-BW Matte black 0.8mm Steel ATX Full Tower Computer Case But just want to make sure my cpu heatsink will fit which is this: Newegg.com - XIGMATEK Intel Core i7 compatible Dark Knight-S1283V REV.W with ACK-I5361 120mm Long Life Bearing CPU Cooler I7 i5 775 1155 and AMD compatible And my power supply: Newegg.com - CORSAIR HX Series CMPSU-1000HX 1000W ATX12V 2.2 / EPS12V 2.91 SLI Ready CrossFire Ready 80 PLUS Certified Modular Active PFC Compatible with Core i7 Power Supply Thanks let me know! |

The case is 8.35 inches wide. Figure on conservatively needing an extra 1.5 to 2.0 inches for the height of the top of the CPU to the side panel below the CPU. This makes for a estimated necessary clearance of 6.35 inches. The height of your heat sink is 159 mm which equals 6.26 inches. The difference is 0.11 inches...estimated. I think the answer is that it will probably clear but not definitely.
For the PSU in that case it does not look like you have any depth restrictions. Both the case and the PSU are ATX therefore the faceplate of the PSU is supposed to mate with the case properly. Just curious, which graphics cards are you using that require a 1000 watt PSU? In most cases a 750 watt PSU will cover this.

sli evga sc 570
and so you think it could possibly fit with my heatsink. I just really what a case that is not huge and has a great window to view inside. |

If you have not yet purchased those video cards, One 580 will be far more stable than SLI 570 setup. Just my 2 cents!

But both in sli will out perform a single 580 and I am waiting for the price to drop down before I purchase another card maybe black friday online deals!
