$700-900 Budget Gaming Rig help

Good evening,

So I'm having a bit of the first time builder fever, I'm looking to construct myself a extremely nice build but my budget can only be around $700-900. I want to be able to run current games like ME2, LFD2, Witcher 2 and Crysis 2 on full settings (yes I realize that's a lot of 2's). BUT my main goal is to be able to run Battlefield 3 on max settings, now I ask of you, will I be able to do that with the budget I'm on now? What are the parts you can recommend to me?!

Thanks!

Welcome to pcmech forums!
You can build a nice gaming rig for your budget but not top notch however you will be able to play all the games you mentioned. Not going to be able to play BF3 in full mode on a $900 budget though! around $1200 will do it.

AMD Athlon II X4 645 Propus 3.1GHz
ASUS M5A99X EVO AM3+
DIAMOND 6870PE51G Radeon HD 6870
Antec EarthWatts EA750 750W
Western Digital Caviar Black WD1001FALS 1TB
CORSAIR Vengeance 8GB
Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium SP1 64-bit
Antec Three Hundred Illusion

$909

Thanks a lot!

Couple of questions regarding the build if you don't mind, why the mobo, Vcard and the pcu? More so the PCU than anything, also, if I we're to go with the $1200 build, what would I be looking at if you don't mind? I might be able to up the budget if possible.

The CPU plays a role in gaming but not a major one, the newer games require more out of CPUs but still the dominating factor in gaming is the video card and memory.

I chose that motherboard because you will be able to use with the new Bulldozer 8 cores coming out soon.

If you were to up your budget to 1200 then I would recommend getting this video card http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...-182-_-Product and this CPU http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...20Phenom%20970
