no signal to the monitor!!! need help!!!

so i recently just built a computer i just bought with everything brand new. i got everything setup right but the only problem i have is getting signal to my monitor. if anyone could plz help, much thankz.

here are my specs

Biostar N68S3B GeForce Socket AM3 Motherboard
AMD Phenom II X4 805 2.50 GHz Quad Core OEM CPU
Patriot PGV38G1333ELK Gaming i5 8GB PC10666 RAM
Seagate 1TB SATA 3G Barracudaź Green Hard Drive
Samsung SH-222AB/BEBE Internal DVD Writer OEM
Thermaltake V2 ATX Mid Tower Case with 450W PSU
Cooler Master AM2 / AM3 CPU Cooler

When this happens, you need to take the motherboard out of the case, place it on a non conductive surface and do an out of case test. This will show if the motherboard is DOA or the possiblity something inside the case is touch the motherboard and causing it to short.
Before you do this though, make sure all your power supply connectore are connected and secure, many people forget to connect the P4 connector which feeds power to the processor, without that, you will get no VGA
